with “Toe-in” Feature 

The Groz Quick Release Woodworking Vise is a traditional pattern vise designed to quickly release the front jaw for interchanging workpieces smoothly. These vises are manufactured from close-grained grey cast iron with accurately machined housings to ensure smooth sliding movement and a true parallel action free of side or cross movement. The vise jaws are equipped with a “Toe-in” feature that ensures even clamping on the whole depth of the workpiece when fully closed.

This vise is also a tail vice because of the adjustable front dog, which can be used in conjunction with a bench stop to hold oversize workpieces securely.

To use this vise, simply press the trigger to activate the quick-release function, and the front jaw will slide freely, allowing you to interchange large or small workpieces smoothly. Release the trigger to return to normal function for fine adjustments.
