The Tractel CaRol TE & TC Powered Drum Winch is an electric powered version of the caRol series featuring a fully electromagnetic break and is fully weatherproof thanks to the pressed aluminium and polycarbonate that is moulded and coloured. The Carol TE & TC have helical gearing teeth that significantly reduce the level of noise when moving. The gears are greased and sealed for life so you should never have to re-grease them. The brackets on the lower part of the frame allow scaffolding poles to be fitted, so that a variety of possible methods of anchoring and counterbalancing may be envisaged. This electromagnetic brake holds the load as soon as the button on the remote control is released. The same happens should there be a power failure. For pulling applications only, the winch can be supplied without brake, so that manual unreeling of the wire rope is possible. The TE is without a frame and the TC comes with a frame.
